Trains, supervises and evaluates Direct Support Professionals.

Monitors staff attendance records.
|
Assists in the development of individual service plans (ISP) and attends ISP meetings.
|
Collects and records data regarding consumer well-being, progress, health, unusual incidents, personal goals and other information.
|
Ensures that safety protocols for the home are in place and adhered to.
|
Monitors and assures cleanliness and safety of the home and reports repair needs.
|
Facilitates banking activities of clients.
|
Carries agency pager (subject to 24 hour on call status) and responds within agency timeframe guidelines.
|
Aids consumers in developing and maintaining daily living skills encouraging independence, hygiene (i.e. bathing, toileting, dental care), appearance (i.e. care of clothing, laundry, appropriate dress, etc.), behavior (i.e. appropriate responses/actions with others including other consumers and the public), proper diet/eating habits, the preparation of meals, and safety (fire drills, first aid techniques). |

Minimum Qualifications |
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
|
One (1) year of supervisory experience
|
|
One (1) year of experience within a program for the MR/DD population.
|
Two (2) years of licensed driving experience and a valid Ohio Driver License suitable for insurability purposes.
