Who Is Cleveland's Finest?

Northeast Ohio’s most prominent chefs raised more than $30,000 at the 20th Anniversary of Cleveland’s Finest Hors d’Oeuvre Contest, presented by The Zito Insurance Agency.

The event, which attracted over 400 guests, featured Desiray McCray & Tim Richards of Cleveland’s New 102 and was held Thursday evening, April 10, at the Terrace Club at Progressive Field in Cleveland, where a true “Dream Team” of Cleveland’s top chefs and restaurants showcased their most popular hors d’oeuvre.

Congratulations to Chef Rob Jankowski of the The Woods with his Seared Scallops and Citrus Risotto and Chef Marlon Mayorga of Corleones’s, who featured a Pan Seared Scallop with Italian Chili Risotto for tying for First Place.  Second place honors went to Chef Jim Bartko of Carrie Cerino’s with his Blue Foot White Shrimp Cake and Mango Salsa.  Finishing third was Chef Fabio Salerno of Lago and Town Hall, with his New Zealand Lamb Lollipop and Blueberry Frangelico Sauce.
