Experience more than 50 internationally acclaimed wine samplings and the most popular music and exhibits in the world and you’ve got an event unlike any other. The Ninth Annual Grapes on Tour at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum April 25.
Sponsored by Giant Eagle, Grapes on Tour benefits Our Lady of The Wayside, which provides homes and services to hundreds of mentally and physically challenged children and adults in the Cleveland area.
Wine enthusiasts are invited to sample fine spirits and wines, while enjoying an evening filled with gourmet food, fine art and rock ‘n’ roll. Hosted by WMJI-FM 105.7’s John Lanigan and FOX 8’s Tony Rizzo, Grapes on Tour will feature entertainment by students of The Paul Green School of Rock Music and a special unplugged acoustic performance by Cleveland’s own Michael Stanley.
Featured performer wines include those from Barefoot Wines, Bonterra Vineyards, Family of Forest Glen Wines, Smoking Loon and Trinchero Family Estates.
This year, Grapes on Tour will feature a Connoisseur Wine Production, sponsored by WNWV The Wave.
Guests also have the opportunity to participate in live auctions to win an American Airlines Sonoma California Wine Country Get Away and an Eric Clapton VIP Blossom Musice Center Package. The Silent Auction will feature rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia from photographer Janet Macoska and fine art from local artists.
Proceeds from the event benefit the hundreds of children and adults in Lorain and Cuyahoga counties who have mental retardation and developmental disabilities.
