2026 New Year Agency Update
Wayside’s 2025 Highlight Reel and 2026 Strategic Plan
Thanks to the combined efforts of agency stakeholders and staff, Wayside’s mission was advanced significantly in 2025! Agency achievements include:
Purchasing 12 new accessible vehicles
Completing countless home improvement projects
Implementing our digital records keeping system, Britco
Enhancing wages and benefits for our direct care staff
Creating new community integration opportunities for our Pathways participants
Balancing the 2025 budget!
Quality is the focus of the agency’s 2026 Strategic Plan, with a call to lock-in on our delivery of services for the individuals we are privileged to support. Highlights of the 2026 Strategic Plan include:
Programming: Fortifying overall quality of residential, transportation, healthcare services and day programming services for individuals with disabilities
Leadership: Reinforcing the capacity of the agency’s Board
Customer Service: Assessing and assisting individuals in a way that promotes the quality of their home and their relationships with housemates
Staffing: Promoting – and thereby elevating - staff performance and accountability.
Communication: Enhancing management of the family/guardian relationship
Finance: Maximizing revenue beyond a balanced 2026 budget, and applying any supplemental revenue to strategically provide lasting benefit to the agency
Enriching the quality of our programs and services is what 2026 is all about and we’re focused and moving forward to provide next level excellence for the people in our care!
