Meet the Starlight Honorees!
Starlight Luncheon, August 30th 

On Tuesday, August 30th, two champions of The Wayside will be honored as recipients of the 12th Annual Starlight Guardian Humanitarian Award, presented by The Shamrock Companies.

Ratanjit S. Sondhe emigrated from India in 1968 with two Masters’ degrees to complete his PhD in polymer chemistry at Akron University. He is the founder and president of the pioneering discoverONENESS Foundation, dedicated to transforming and empowering all aspects of business, society, culture, and life. He is internationally renowned as Mr. Stress-Free, and is a sought after speaker on topics ranging from the fascinating story of his journey into Oneness to Applied Spirituality, Mindfulness and Wealth Creation.

Dick Griffin grew up in Euclid, Ohio and graduated from Ohio University. He is a leader in the investment business, has represented clients in the wealth management business and in private investment opportunities; specifically, healthcare, sports, gaming, advertising, and communications. A lover of all sports, Dick had a tryout with the Cleveland Indians in the early 60's. He currently serves on the Board of the American Cancer Society, the Cleveland Baseball Federation and for 20 years here at Our Lady of the Wayside.

Dream Day with The Cleveland Indians & Dream Days Ohio!

On August 3rd, participants from our Pathways Day Program had the opportunity to throw, catch and hit right on the field! Everyone had a fantastic experience and Pitching Coach Mickey Callaway and his family stopped by to meet everyone during lunch.  A big thanks to partner The Cleveland Indians, Dream Days Ohio and The Diamond Boys for making it an unforgettable day!

CEO Terry Davis Named a Smart 50 Honoree

Congratulations to CEO Terry Davis on being named one of Smart Businesses NEO Smart 50! The Smart 50 program was designed to recognize the top executives of the smartest companies in the region for their ability to effectively build and lead savvy organizations. 

Terry received his award at the July 12th ceremony at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven along with the other 49 honorees. It was inspiring to see so many distinguished leaders in attendance supporting the community at the awards ceremony. Congratulations to the entire 2016 Smart 50 Class!

Terry Davis Receives EY Community Impact Award! 

Congratulations to CEO Terry Davis on receiving the Community Impact Award at the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 Gala on June 9th! "I want to thank Ernst & Young, the judges and am grateful to receive this award on behalf of the entire Our Lady of the Wayside Team. Everyday, each staff member works hard to change the world, making a difference by making sure the individuals that we serve have every opportunity to succeed, this is truly a team effort. This award distinguishes The Wayside with arguably the region's most prestigious business award and puts the agency among organizations from 24 other regions nationally who also compete for this Award. The EY Award Program spans the globe to include 145 cities in 60 countries, with a roster of 10,000 alumni dating back to the last 30 years. 


Our Lady of the Wayside is growing and we have your opportunity to be a part of it.  We are currently seeking entry level positions as well as experienced direct care staff to join our team and will be conducting open interviews Monday-Friday at our Administrative Office in Avon.  

We offer a competitive benefits package for full-time employees as well as comprehensive training, including a Management Training Program, for those who wish to grow within the organization.  There are also Part-Time, Weekends only and PRN positions available for those who may still be in school or looking to expand their work experience.
